I came down from Bald Mountain and headed south up Boreas Mountain. It was another long ridge slog, but the Weston Pass fire south of Fairplay kept my attention. The fire was belching smoke plumes that filled the South Park valley and areas east. I really hope the fire situation doesn't get any worse than it is now.
