While the Ship was docked in St Johns I took the opportunity to hike up the highest Peak of Antigua. After a short Taxi Ride up to the Service Road on the Southern Side, It took me about an hour to reach the Peak. Beautifull view over the whole Island thanks to the Service worker which have been at the Peak for some Maintainance work and left the Gate open. Usually you can not get to the Peak when the gate is closed. Took the scenice Rainforest trail down the Northern Trail into the Obama National Park. (At the bottom of the Trail you have a Plaque honoring President Obama). Once on the bottom of the Valley you follow the Road winding down through Farms and Fields leading you back to the Main Road where you can catch a Bus-ride back to St.Johns. All in all a beautifull trip for a few hours in the Afternoon.
