Parked at Woodhead Reservoir car park at SK 08178 99347, as A628 was closed. Walked down into Crowden and around the campsite, taking an old road SW up to join the Pennine Way north. After Oaken Clough, headed east up onto the plateau to the summit post on Black Chew Head. Then followed a bit of a path SW to the trig point on the summit of Featherbed Moss. Then headed back to join a RoW down to re-join the Pennine Way south back into Longdale. Solo.

A mix of sunshine, rain and hail showers. Cold WNW wind.
