A fairly uneventful trip to the top. Trail is steep in places and hiking poles were certainly helpful. Finding the beginning of the trail by the parking area was almost the toughest part of the trip. Trail is well marked on the lower sections. With just under 900 meters to go we lost the flagged trail somehow. We eventually made it to the top from the east side of the summit. Not a route I would recommend. Weather was cloudy, cool and windy but the view was still pretty good. Made it to the top with Geoff (no relation to Sir Edmund) Hillary and Steve Baverstock.
