Walked up from the Totara Valley to the trig. Did a little track maintenance on the bush section whilst travelling each way. Spooked two red deer in the bush, saw 20 or so powelliphanta snail shells and heard kea (mountain parrots) along the way. Nice wx. Didn't see any other people out there.
