The Alto de Almadenes Peak flanks the Rio Segura. The river meanders through a spectacular tectonic fault. When we arrived, the wind was hurricane.
First we have climbed the mountain and after we have also approached the river and walked the trails.
The climb is not too difficult from a step on
the north side.
To get here use topographic maps and navigator, because the area is surrounded
by large private farms.
