Summary:
Meeting at 12:30 swallow lane in carrbrook
Heading straight up to the famous Buckton Castle Ruins. It was a steep climb up in parts but the group took on the task and flew up.

We headed west over Buckton moors towards Chew Reservoir, great views of Chew in the sun 🌞

Ascented Alphin Pike where we had refreshments and a bit of a photo op .

In high spirits we decided to make our journey back by taking in some of the quarry views and walking back by cowbury reservoir

We came out of the trail path to find some pigs and chickens at a local fam before walking threw Carrbrook village to the cars
