A brief walk in the woods lead to the Col of Thures, a wide grassy flat with an amazing and still lake, the Chavillon Lake and a more little a bit upper, the Bellety Lake. From here you have to take the path which cut the slope of the Aguille Rouge and becomes only gravel. You have to go upper and upper, following the narrow trail which climbs with hairpins always closer to one another. In the end, you arrive to the peak, at the cross and an amazing 360 degrees view opens all around. Every peak can be seen from up there, the Three Magi, Mount Thabor, the Aguille du Midi and so much more, even the little town before Névache in down in the valley.
We have gone there on a cloudy october day, nobody was there and we were able to enjoy the landscape alone, totally relaxed, with the clouds playing and creating wonderful shows with the peaks.
