Day out with my daughter started with a car battery replacement and so late start from Calgary at 9am. At the roadside pullout at 11:45 meant we reached the base of the climb at 1:30pm after a quick search to find the first bolt and I was given the odd pitches and so started upward. First pitch a little loose but the quality of the route and rock gets better from there. 13 pitches was the longest route yet for my daughter and she rocked the even pitches which were the best. The pendulum crux on pitch 5 was pretty straight forward with good hands and just a slippery foot or two. Pitch 8 had some loose rock come down from the belay stance. 3hrs 30min and we were on top. Five minutes enjoying the clearing view of Mt Hector's glacier and we began the 13 or 14 rappels. We worked well together and were at our boots in 2hrs without any rope snags. At that point, I managed to falsely trigger my inReach in my pack and a panic had me figuring how to shut off the SOS call which I managed to do in a minute and it would appear avoid a false helicopter dispatch. Steep morrainey, gravel descent had us at the car at 8:45pm and out to Lake Louise for an earned supper. Been wanting to do that one for a while and it and my daughter didn't disappoint.

Not really a summit, but more a route. I gave it a like anyways. :)
