"Connector to Mount Sanitas, nice little off shoot trail off the valley trail that is rocky and rooty, but shaded and a good little extra jaunt en route down from the main trail. " — Katamount • May 28, 2024
"8am start up the steep portion and looped it back down the valley trail. Earlier start would’ve helped avoid the heat but overall, a lovely day for a Boulder hike. Pretty views and great company. " — Katamount • May 28, 2024
"5/21/24: This was my inaugural hike as a trip leader with the CMC. I took a very solid group of mostly recent retirees (party of 8) up Mount Falcon via Turkey Trot from the Morrison TH. We made good time up to the plateau, explored around the Summer White House Site a bit, and then had lunch back down at the pavillion. We made good work getting back to the TH via Castle Trl as some light graupel at the top turned to light rain for most of the trek back before opening up as we were leaving. It’s official! (6.4/1640)" — LoneWolf • May 21, 2024
"Hiked up the steep way from Red Rocks area. I didn't think I'd make it all the way due to snow but it wasn't bad.. Wished I brought my poles, I had to finda stick to get down without slipping! Amazing views. Excellent hike." — beaucheminjess • Apr 29, 2024
"Went up for retribution with Tim, James, Sara, Edel, Claire, and Garrett. Upper section snow got blown off since Monday, so we booted part of it. Snow was very hard and windblown above treeline. Lovely view of a cloud system east of us in the lower mountains. Great day overall, don't sleep on the quarry." — benyboy • Mar 30, 2024
