"Another low but lovely peak along St. Cuthbert’s Way. This is the first big ascent out of Morebattle, Scotland. Crookedshaws Hill caused a few members of our band to turn around and take a taxi to our next meeting place along the path." — briansnyder • May 24, 2024
" Very wet and windy trek up from Tweed Bank, Scotland, mostly on the St. Cuthbert pilgrim trail. Even wetter and windier on the ridge. I’m sure the view is nice on a clear day." — briansnyder • May 22, 2024
"The peak doesn't offer much besides firewood and a scramble beneath fallen trees. But the walk around it features a dense plantation that blocks all wind and sound from the rest of the world which is a nice feature." — Fun • Feb 21, 2024
"Great climb to the top. There's no official path, and the hill is completely forested, so I'd recommend climbing in winter before the tick season. Also, many trees have fallen, so one should be careful." — craigharkins • Feb 18, 2024
"Re-discovered Waterloo Tower, lost to time, commemorating some war or other. Would make a nice little Costa for folk who go for a walk after visiting the graveyard, but is almost completely ruined in its 209th year of near the Firth." — Fun • Feb 18, 2024
