I stopped at the farm to the south to get permission to go up the hill. I walked some distance to the north in fairly deep snow. The hill itself is not very steep. There is a cemetery on top. This was my fifth summit for the day.

Dear Bob, thank you for visiting our Butte! Which Sherpa did you use and please tell me that you took your oxygen tanks back down with you. There is nothing worse than a rude climber that doesn't take care of their own trash! All kidding aside, thank you for bringing our butte to the world's attention.

I do not remember the Sherpa's name. It is hard to pronounce those Nepalese words. He gave out three quarters of the way up and turned back. I went slow and got by without an oxygen tank.
