In sioux County, Nebraska, 1/4 mile west of the junction of Milo Road and Sand Creek Road, there is an intersection with an old NF road, 944. We followed this for 1 mile to where the round bends sharply south. We went off-road here and hiked the ridge up to the summit of Wright Peak. Spectacular views west toward Wyoming and north toward the Black Hills, and three geodetic markers at the top.
