From the viewpoint car park at SD 86011 83835. The ongoing water retention scheme is highly effective, and crossing Fleet Moss is a route-finding puzzle to avoid new pools and water-filled troughs between the peat hags. Wellies advisable. Eventually reached a wall, where I found a way to climb over without damaging it at SD 87370 83268. Then the going was much easier, visiting both tops. Returned much the same way, but further south. It was just as bad going. Solo. Sunshine and cloud, with a short hail shower. Cold NW wind.
