A not so Windy day on Windy peak. Took a few people out and started right before the communication tower. Had a front wheel drive vehicle and managed to make it to the top of the road area, with minimal trouble. The loose rock at the top was the worst of it. There is also a lot of construction in the Spring Mountain area, so the trailhead is really easy to miss right now. Luckily there is a light not far afterwards, if you need to turn around.

The hike itself had a lot more up and down than I realized, but all and all, not terrible. Found out that the area also has wild horses and ticks. My spouse found one on their hat. After you get to the top of the Class3 block, the peak flattens out and the way to the registry/summit is pretty well kairned. Even if it wasn't, it wouldn't be hard to find a way there.
