"It was hard to believe it was mid february. Dry route for most of the day. Some scrambling halfway up but nothing serious. Went to the summit and back. Didnt end up doing the ridge walk. I'll definitely come back sometime and do the whole loop. My Garmin watch recorded just under 6km. " — Slogenstein • Feb 13, 2022

"Very enjoyable half-day outing: no approach, no bushwhacking, instant good views, lots of potential scrambling, good ridgewalking.
The brutal wind with gusts of up to 120 km/h added extra challenge. I was knocked off my feet a couple times and tried to stay below exposed ridges. Fortunately, the wind subsided between the south and north summit so I was able to enjoy a lovely ridgewalk. The wind picked up again when I was descending the summit so I had to traverse below the pinnacles on some icy slabs, which required a great deal of caution. The rest was easy." — Taras • Feb 21, 2021

"Both summits of Wildhorse Ridge, too bad couldn't make a loop due to avi conditions. Had to return the same way.
A great family day out for starting the season.
7km with 800m gain. " — alexp • Mar 28, 2020

"Alison, Bert, Blake, Feli and I went up Wildhorse Ridge without incident. All snow is avoidable at this time. We brought traction and/or crampons, but never took them out. It was a short trip- just under 4 hours including a summit visit. Weather hovered between -2 and +2, so great for winter. The deadfall on the ridge wasn't fun, but oh well. Views were decent and the Chinook arch was cool. We caught a bit of the sunrise too. Glad to get out with the gang" — leigh-annewebster • Jan 12, 2019
