"Decided to check out this peak for the 2nd time. The first time I was with a group that got to the base of the summit block, where it looks very intimidating to climb up to the peak, and decided that it was too technical. Well, it turns out that the climb up the summit block is really a lot easier than it looks. You don't have to subject yourself to the extreme exposure around most of the peak. There is a very easy class 3, pushing 4 in places, that gets you up to the peak. I have attached pictures that show parts of the climb. Definitely a fun peak!" — Heartattackbruce • Nov 28, 2023
"We decided to do White Rock Hills Peak today because there was a route that I wanted to try, and there was a sub-peak that I wanted to attempt. We took Diamond Ridge Canyon (SE Gully) up to the summit of White Rock Hills Peak. Although brushy near the bottom, once past that, this was a very fun route with lots of great scrambling! From the top, we started descending via the Southern Route, making a side trip[ to White Rock Hills Jr. I had never been up there before, so we searched for the best way. Most routes looked technical, but we were able to find a cool class 4 route to the summit. There were no signs of anyone else ever being up there before. We built a cairn and left a register. This was a fun one! We downclimed the same way, then continued down the Southern Route to Rocky Gap Rd." — Kevin • Apr 12, 2015
