Mountain 1 of 2 on this hike.

I started at the Willow Creek parking lot, where most people go to hike to the Stevens Lakes. Started towards the trail of Lone Lake until I split off on one of the logging roads switching back up to West Willow Peak. This is some pretty steep hiking at first and you'll gain about 2000ft the initial hour-ish. Hiking poles will be nice because there is a mix of large boulders that your traversing and thick brush that blocks your view of where you're stepping. Follow the ridge from W Willow all the way around the cirque to Stevens Peak. Nice seclusion to be had here. Up and back in around 4.5 hours, 3600 ft of gain.
