Hiked East Vidette the day before, then hiked up the drainage and camped at the picturesque lower Vidette Lake. Climbed the peak via the tedious East Face, but descended the Northeast Chute directly back to camp at the lower lakes. A quick and fun descent. This isn't nearly as enjoyable a climb as East Vidette, but the views are definitely better.
