"Stopped at a road next to the mountain and hiked up it. There is an old washed out road that you could potentially hike up if you wanted. The hike that we did started out with incredible thick woods before slowly transitioning into more and more rocky terrain. There is a lot of exposed rock you will need to maneuver around. At the top of the mountain there are wild plums and passionflowers. Overall a fun hike." — abAR • Aug 3, 2025
"Wildcat Mountain
Pulled over on the side of the road and hiked up it. Rough and thick forest all the way up. Good view at the top of the surrounding mountains. Probably best to go in the winter.

"These are just small hills along a very nice trail. They are good for kids as long as you can get to the trailhead. The road is pretty rocky and would be a bit sketchy in a low-clearance car. An SUV with decent tires is fine. The leaves are down and the views are pretty good at Lower Round Top. No water along the trail. It's about five miles to do the whole loop, marked in blue blazes, and can be done in a mountain bike. " — danielmartin • Nov 22, 2022
