"Another big day today, bagging 7 more peaks from the SD 100 Peak Challenge (Derek's List). Started out by completed the Mission Trails 5 Peak Challenge (Cowles, Pyles, Kwaay Paay, North Fortuna and South Fortuna). Then on my way back I decided to complete Tooth Rock and Twin Peaks. Peaks 9 through 15 of the challenge. Total miles today 17.91 and 5,825 feet in elevation gain. " — Philip-Yoho • Jan 5, 2021
"Beginning at Silverset Park, I accessed the dirt road next to the park entrance. The dirt road was broad and well defined. In short order, a use trail branches off toward the summit and leaves this well defined dirt road behind. The use trail goes all the way to the summit from there. I did make a few wrong turns and wound up in the bushes, but it wasn't long before I made corrections. With no shade and the sun beating down on me the whole time, I was glad that it was only about 62 degrees. Meanwhile, I topped out and enjoyed the views. On top, I meandered a bit and checked out the other high point of the twin peaks before returning the way I came up." — MikeTeeples • Jan 11, 2020
"Started from Silverset park and headed east then up the trail that climbs between the two peaks. Visited the eastern peak then climbed up top the western (higher) side. Continued north over the top and looped around to the west and back down to Silverset Park." — MathgeekTodd • Oct 22, 2012
"Night hike to watch fireworks. We could see about 10 shows at once. Unfortunately, the marine layer blocked the shows in the bay. There were probably 30 people sharing the peak with us." — benjineer • Jul 4, 2012
