"Took the knife ridge "hike" from the top of the tram. Definitely some 4th class movement and not for the casual hiker. Saw three bolt hangers on the ridge so apparently I'm not the only one who thinks it is a little spooky :)" — beaucheminjess • Aug 26, 2019
"Started from the Snowbird Lodge and went up through the ski resort to Gad Valley, then ascended up to the ridge, then to Red Top, then followed the faint trail across the saddle and up to the top." — tomsenreed • Oct 24, 2015
"After coming down from Hidden Peak, the ridge to the twins looked pretty scary. I was not going to be beaten down by nature though! Once up on the ridge it was not scary at all. Very Steep and lots of good route finding along the rocks, but never felt in danger. Heard a moose howling off in the distance as I hiked. Great views from the top." — Apcook • Sep 28, 2015
"I got an early start and got to the trail head of Cecret lake at 7am. I enjoyed the quite hike to Cecret lake alone. When I got to the lake to my surprise I found that I was the only one there. I spent a few minutes enjoying the silence knowing that this place will be packed with hikers later in the day.
I continued up the trail over Cecret ridge and up to Sugarloaf pass. After a few minutes of searching I finally found the trail up to Mt. Baldy. It was behind the Baldy Express lift. The trail to Mt. Baldy was a short rock scramble up the side and then a long leisurely hike to the peak.
I then continued down from Mt Baldy towards Hidden Peak. Although I had been to this peak three times before (Including ones this summer) this would be the first time there without using the tram. After the shallow sloping trail ended, the service roads started. This meant a long road with many switch backs to the top. Since the trams hadn't started running yet I had this place to myself.
As I looked at the trail ahead of me I felt very timid of continuing on. I started towards the twins with the intent to turn back if the trail got too harry. Before I got to the start of th..." — shaggs31 • Aug 31, 2013
"My second high county peak of 2007. Made an early morning trip up the Gad Valley route with Nick and Carl. The wind got pretty scary once we topped out on the ridge, but the views of the Wasatch making its early transition to fall made it worth it. Came down the face of the East Twin, and made the short trip up the service road to Hidden Peak. From there we took the tram down to Oktoberfest and celebrated our success with some well-deserved beers." — JimmyUtah • Sep 16, 2007
