After eyeing this peak from Avalanche and Hoyt all day, I decided to gamble that the cloud's were going to stay innocent and went for it. Hiked cross-country up the northern ridge (creepy when below treeline) which led to the wrong side of the notch! Had to drop down between the two summits for some loose class II/III climbing including a really loose traverse, which resulted in a fall on the way out. The runout was enough that I was in no real danger but it was steep as hell. I spotted a class III crack on the way out that might have worked better but the rock was so crumbly it's really hard to say.
