Hiked this one with Jordan in a day via the Herman Creek trail from the Gorge. Obviously, there's a shorter route from Wahtum Lake, but this route is so rewarding. I brought 1.5 liters of water and my Sawyer squeeze filter. We didn't bring too much else: a mid layer, a shell, some food, and a small emergency kit.
