"March 13, 2021. Trail was nice and packed and I only needed microspikes. I summited at 10 am and around 10:30 the snow started to get a bit slushy, but I still did not need to break out my snowshoes. Did a loop around Mirror Lake on my way back to the trailhead. Beautiful bluebird day! " — runningvegan • Mar 13, 2021
"Began at 2:19, summiting at 4:27, and finishing at 6:22. I was the only person in my group to go all the way to the summit as others stayed at the open west ridge area with great views." — xnatedawgx • Oct 12, 2019

"We started at Mirror Lake trail head, hiked around Mirror Lake, then on to Tom Dick and Harry Peak. The trail was heavily traffic to the vista point before the true summit of Tom Dick and Harry. From the summit we went back along the ski trails ("Summit trail") and back down to the parking lot through the ski resort. Total loop was 16km." — jak5280 • Aug 4, 2019

"I made a promise to my wife that I wouldn't climb Mt. Hood during our vacation and chose TDH for a quick morning hike before we flew back to Charlotte, NC. I hiked up in perfectly clear weather and saw few people once past Mirror Lake. Views along the trail and from the summit are remarkable and must be some of the best in Oregon." — tlannin • Jul 15, 2016

"Enjoyed the stunning, unobstructed views from the rocky summit. Hood, Adams, Jefferson, Rainier, and St Helens all visible. High bang-for-the-buck hike, would be a great trailrun too." — scott • Jul 18, 2010
