10.13.2020~5 peaks, 6.2 mile, 3,000’ gain, 5hr (95%) Scramble in the Calico Hills. Red Book, Calico Tank East and West, Red Cap & Tinaja Peaks. Hot Fall Day. With an 11:30am start, 85 deg. and no breeze, it was an inferno on the sandstone. Lots of practice on exposed creepy ledges and class 3-4 climbing.
