Getting in a short hike after flying into Sacramento last night. Really nice trail up to and along the ridge with views down into Kirkwood. I thought I was tagging another CA CoHP while scrambling up the rocky promontory and taking in the fine view. Nice short scenic hike but a brain fart on HP part. This sub-peak is two feet shorter than the true summit I passed twice on my out and back. Good reason to come back.
