"finally made it to Agamenticus's Third Hill on this very humid Sunday (Day 5 of a forecast predicting 10 days of rain), we made it there and back before this day's showers began. Round-trip the trek out there and back to the Mt. A parking lot was ~6.5 miles. It was a nice meandering hike that I would recommend to any skill level. We hopped over ~5-7 trail systems to get to our destination. Some for only foot traffic, and some multi-use. All trails were well marked. I was sad to find the summit has no summertime view, as I was hoping to views Maine's Southern seacoast. There was however, a nice breeze and the summit is a kind of hilltop playground. It would be a great spot for a picnic! I am looking forward to returning in Winter via snowshoe, and see if there is a Winter view. Lastly, it was a VERY buggy hike due to the volume of rain we've received. Even Deet bugspray couldn't keep them all away. " — CiccheMariti • Jun 30, 2013
