"Another day trip from Wodonga. Drove to Porepunkah and up onto the Mount Buffalo Plateau. The road to The Horn was closed and I did not feel like making the long walk. I parked below The Cathedral and climbed up to the The Hump. I set up the radio gear to activate VK3/VE-019, making 16 contacts. I packed up and returned to the car. I then drove around to the access route to Mount Jack and drove to the high point beside the summit and stopped to walk to the high point. I drove on to reach Peak 1205m, known in SOTA as VK3/VE-090 Mount Jack Range. I set up the radio gear and made 20 contacts. I packed up and retraced my entry route to exit and then headed back to Wodonga." — peterfreeman • Sep 13, 2018

"Drove out from Wodonga to Mount Buffalo. Parked in the car park at the end of Mount Buffalo Road and climbed up the walking track to the summit. Set up radio gear with a mast in the corner of the guard rails, with half the antenna hanging down over the cliff and the other half tied off back along the guard rail. Activated for SOTA (VK3/VE-014). Packed up and descended to car. Drove around to car park beneath The Cathedral and walked up the track to the top of The Horn. Set up just below the summit tor to activate VK3/VE-019. After activation, returned to vehicle and then drove back to Wodonga." — peterfreeman • Jan 1, 2013
