"Nice winter hike. Just a bit of snow, a little slippery in places, but no microspikes needed today (carried them just in case). This was #3 of three for the day - started on Burton for sunrise, then Holt, finished on Temple." — PJSelmer • Dec 28, 2016
"Up & over this today for another trip out to Holt Peak with the wife & dogs. My 20th time up here, 3rd ever in October. There is a lot of work being done to the access road that is also part of the Wapack Trail but the Beebe Trail is a nice alternative. This was my first time going up the Beebe Trail. "Hiking this for the first time in September, hoping to grid the Wapack Trail Peaks 5 times before the end of 2019, I began logging in 2011, but I just recently learned what it is to grid a peak list!" — VonSelmer • Sep 2, 2016
"Took the Wapack Trail (cell tower access road) up to the Temple summit. The views back of Pack Monadnock as we neared the merge with the Beebe Trail were nice. Once up on the ridge in the forest the Wapack Trail was a little sparsely marked in a view sections heading southward, but the travel was well defined and in good shape the whole way to Holt Peak. When my dog and I first crossed over the summit of Temple we missed the little turnoff for the stone seats, as that section of the trail was a little overgrown and the very tall summit cairns from previous year's photos on here are no longer standing. The summit was viewless but it was nice to take a quick break there on our decent. Overall a nice moderately easy hike." — HikeLikeMike • Jun 25, 2016
"Found a new East ridge trail which must've been one of the many old ski routes. Blueberries galore! Lunch and a few brews with the sitting spirits amoung the stone chairs and high cairns on the summit." — mikezilla • Aug 14, 2014
