I parked at the trailhead by the snowmobile shop and headed up the basin between Mt. Aetna and Taylor. I missed my turn off the main road, but found a trail that got me back on track. There's a lot of old mines & structures scattered around the area and I crossed some avalanche debris walking over to Taylor's ridge. I probably didn't choose the best route up the ridge, but eventually made the summit. I followed the ridge over to Mt. Aetna and descended back to the road, arriving just as the rain started.
