"As far as I can determine, Taylor Hill is the 10th highest named highpoint in Indiana, as well as the Bartholomew County HP. It is not the 8th highest highpoint as claimed by this website. My son, Marshall, and I experienced drizzling weather here, so we were glad this summit was an easy drive up. We were especially glad that the landowner at the top was friendly. I agree with John Hasch's detailed trip report, that the home on the summit could pass for "Batman's stately Wayne Manor." It is a magnificent residence. The owner of the home requested that I not take any photos of his house, so we took our victory photo away from the residence in the only direction with a view on the west side of the house. There was a small bump in the lawn here that we claimed as the highest point, but in reality, the house probably sits on the original highpoint." — Stewy • Nov 8, 2014
"When you finally reach the base of Taylor Hill and see the estate and mansion sitting atop, it is quite intimidating. The home sits right on top. We knocked on the door to find friendly owners only requesting no pictures of the home." — marshallstewart • Nov 8, 2014
