"This one had it all and I thoroughly enjoyed it, albeit quite hard work, especially the descent down to the forest plantation track. The steepness and loose stones and rock put me on my arse. At the beginning you can barely see the track through the overgrown conifers - just follow the trail of stones. Not one to descend without hiking poles either." — adventure-stricken • Apr 12, 2025
"From Dolgoch, up the gorge to the end of the tourist trail, then up over the wall and onto track running SE. Followed this along to west side of hill, switching back and then climbing eastwards to cairn, then to summit proper, returning down along fence NNW to rejoin track ending up at station." — vygodski • Sep 4, 2019
"From car park at Abergynolwyn. Solo. To Mynydd Rhyd-galed. Along path to summit of Tarrenhendre, first to ancient cairn and then to the cairn on peat hag at the highest point. Returned to NH696040 and followed right of way NNW to track and road to Abergynolwyn. Nice weather." — peter43 • Apr 1, 2018
