"Helping out Juel with her red-lining. We did a traverse over Attitash Tr. We went up the Bear Notch side. Chilly windy day today. Still some heavy cloud cover by the time we reached Table Mtn. We hit the true summit and the summit canister was gone. We touched a few bumps on Big Attitash Mtn then headed steeply down. We then went up the backside of Whitehorse Ledge for the nice views there, then down Bryce Path to the other car. " — newenglandwarrior • Sep 16, 2022
"Nora, Kali and I climbed Table Mountain on a very warn, sunny day. I'd just hiked it three days before on a cool day, which was much nicer. This hike, today, was harder with the heat and humidity. It's still an easy and absolutely beautiful climb, regardless of the weather, though I'd imagine those ledges might be rough in the ice.

"Kali and I picked up my friend Pam at at 8:45 am, then drove to Bear Notch Road and parked at the trailhead for Attitash Trail.
Luckily, we got there early, as there were already two cars there and it is a small parking area.
The trail started out very easy and nice, with an easy water crossing or two fairly soon into the hike.
The woods were beautiful, with all the fall colors surrounding us, and the river running along our right, down below us.
After about .7 mile, the trail passes above the cascades below, and forks to the left, ascending at a more moderate incline. Kali really wanted to run down and jump into the river here. I couldn’t blame her; it was beautiful.
The trail continued nicely, alternating between moderate, slightly steep and easy all the way to the first ledge. Immediately we had gorgeous views.
All of the ledges were fairly steep, though not horribly so, and were slippery because they had loose rotted granite that formed a fine scree over the bare ledge.
At the last ledge below the summit, there was a cute little cairn. We met a man from Quebec here and stopped to talk for a few minutes. He was continuing across to Big Attitash after Table Mountain.

"Teamed up with Sarah H for a car spot hike of the Attitash Tr. There was a herd path that left the trail soon after the view point on Table Mtn. So we followed it and found the summit canister of Table Mtn. " — newenglandwarrior • Aug 16, 2018
