"Went in to a new to me area, Windermere/Invermere with one of Leigh-Anne's friends. Julie is a local to the area and took us up one of her regular routes. There was a dusting of snow and ice. Up higher there was some snow to go through but overall pretty good. There was no wind up top. It was clouded over a bit so while we had decent views the views were a bit limited." — BertB • Feb 18, 2023
"Bert and I drove down to Invermere and met Julie there. Since she goes up there all the time and is a local resident of the town, we just followed her and her dog Riley up the mountain, first to the fire tower, then to the summit! It's kind of like Invermere's Prairie Mountain, just a bit longer (9.1km) with some extra gain (763m)." — leigh-annewebster • Feb 18, 2023
"Started from lower parking area. Going up the south ridge and down Swansea slopes for a loop. A visit to an old mining cave near the upper parking area and doing the lower viewpoint loop added some distance and gain/loss. " — Randy • Jul 2, 2018
"Nice to get a whiff of spring with temperatures rising to a very mild 9C by afternoon. Gentle walk up with just a minor section at the top that was somewhat dicey due to spring snowpack. Final 100m wound around the back end with fairly steep side slopes that were still covered in heavy snow though trail was fairly well packed down by previous scramblers. The snow fleas were out in full force and hopping about. It was nice to try a slight variation this time going up the south slope route and then coming out on the road right by the Hula Girl entrance. Maybe next time I'll try Risky Monkey or Booty Call :-)" — Mountainman • Mar 29, 2014
"Set off initially to do Pinto Mountain with the Postman but had a change of mind due to early season avalanche pack in the bowl. Decided to summit this instead. Took a mixed route of trails and road to reach the summit. During summer it is quicker to drive to the upper trail head at the base of the mountain rather hiking from the lower parking lot." — Mountainman • May 15, 2010
