"An interesting error on the Peakery program. Sunset Ledge is further to the north (it even shows it on the Peakery map). I hit the summit of this peak, labeled as South Lincoln Gap Peak, 2825 ft. The true summit is just off of the Long Trail. There is a small jelly jar tied to a tree. The last person to sign into it was 13 months ago. It is labeled as a VT200 Highest peak. I hiked it after reaching Sunset Ledge, then I kept hiking to this point. My second hike of the day after Burnt Rock and Ethan Allen. I went to have a beer at Lawson's Finest Liquids for a View and Brew afterwards. " — newenglandwarrior • Sep 15, 2023
"Thanksgiving Weekend in the mountains of Vermont 🏔🏕🥾❤️
Completed the Presidential Traverse as our first thru-hike.
A wild and incredible adventure. Tough as my heath was not the best but this trip were had been planning turned out to be perfect.
We had sunshine, and snow, fresh air and a little bit of rain.
First time sleeping in a shelter along a trail, and it was great, woke up to snow falling and finding a little mouse taking shelter in my pack haha 😂
Over 15.5 hours of hiking, 34.7 km and over 7 mountains. And more of the Vermont long trail.
🏔⛰🏕🥾❤️" — Littlefoot • Oct 8, 2022
