Made it to the campground where the Cecret Lake Trail head is at about 5:20 AM, but had to look around for a while to find the trail head. Spotting things in the dark is not my strong suit. Finally got on the trail after wandering around for about 25 minutes. Only to be stopped by a moose on the trail about 30 yards ahead of me. Waited for about 30 minutes until he moved on. The hike to the lake was easy, but after that it was a lot of scrambling. I didn't want to go up to the saddle between Sugarloaf and Devil's Castle so I just scrambled up to the ridge on the Western side of the peak. Made the summit just after 7:30. Awesome hike!
