I had been up Stock Ridge last year & ever since had wanted to continue out the ridge to some other peaks. I started up Stock Ridge, then headed over to Egypt Peak, then over to Antony. I had really wanted to connect this ridge to Cleopatra Peak, but there is a deep wash in between & I was unable to find a route down through the cliffs. I'm sure there is a way, but I needed more time to find it (stupid daylight savings!). I will go back & try Cleopatra from Cleopatra Canyon at some point. This was an incredibly beautiful hike! The views are outstanding & the spring desert is so green right now. The birds were chirping & the bees buzzing. Lots of flowers are starting to come out & I'm guessing they will explode after the forecast rains this week. The weather was also wonderful, with a nice cool breeze. I found yet another radiosonde, this time with the balloon still attached. I've found around 12-15 of them now. I parked about 1/8 mile from the Cleopatra Canyon parking area. Boathouse Cove Road is in utterly terrible shape.
