The trick is getting permission to hike it, since it is property of a local rancher. The owner graciously opened it to a group from Great Falls for national Trails Day. It's a relatively easy hike of maybe 2 miles up the north side. The top is remarkable, undulating prairie grassland, substantially higher on the west side. As is my habit, I did pushups at the highest point (USGS marker) and taught the tradition to a fellow hiker.
