Did this as a two car hike Rt 2 to Savoy State Forest via Busby.
About 5mmiles or so took an hour and a half.
Not hard. Busby is the steepest part. Less steep to do up Rt 2 side with a nice meander on the ridge.

"Did the Busby Trail out to the summit and back. Probably the best view in the Berkshires. Very impressive. Greylock is great, but this is natural and secluded. Busby Trail is well maintained and only gets steep in the last half-mile or so. There was a little more snow than I expected and wished I had crampons. Some ice on trail beneath snow but nothing too bad. Great, quick hike with big payoff." — MilesTogo • Dec 10, 2021
"One last hike on our way home from a weekend in North Adams. It was a quick one up/down Busby trail but seemed legit except for the strange wooden section (see pic) where the utility company placed a half mile of wooden beams for their trucks to drive over." — SteveG • Sep 2, 2018
"Fred Schroeder once again led his history hike to Heritage Visitor Center, Hoosac Tunnel, Bear Swamp Pumped Storage Hydroelectric, but this time we climbed Spruce Hill in Savoy State Forest." — barbaratraver • May 26, 1997
