Spring Hill is an obscure summit located off of Barrett-Stoddard Rd. It is on the way to Stoddard Peak. At just under 2 miles, a use trail leaves the dirt road and descends to a meadow. After reaching the pole marking the wilderness boundary, it becomes a bushwhack the rest of the way to the high point. The climb is rather easy minus all the bushes that need to be climbed through and over. I was prepared with long pants and long sleeves. There may be a marker somewhere in the bushes, but I didn’t find it. Before returning to the parking area, I made a quick visit to Hog Back.
