"The trail walk from Albinyana to the Ermita de Sant Antoni de Padua is a delightful journey through the serene Catalonian countryside. Starting in the charming village of Albinyana, the path winds its way through verdant landscapes, gradually leading you to the historic Ermita de Sant Antoni de Padua. This 18th-century hermitage, dedicated to Saint Anthony of Padua, stands as a beacon of the region's deep-rooted cultural and religious history.
Continuing your ascent, you eventually reach the Puig de Sant Antoni, the highest point in the region at 408 meters. At the summit, a concrete structure marks the peak, a small but significant testament to the climb you’ve just completed. From this vantage point, you're treated to stunning views of the surrounding landscape, including the impressive Puig Lleó at 312 meters and the picturesque les Torretes at 251 meters.
This trail walk is a harmonious blend of natural beauty and historical significance, offering hikers a unique and enriching experience in the heart of Catalunya." — belgianIbex • Oct 6, 2024
"The trail starts at the Parking place on Cami de les Torretes and after 500 m there is a bridge which takes you over the railway. The track goes to "el Raurell (244 m)" and Puig Claper (280). The mountain range here is called Serra Pedregosa. The tracks goes nord to the Natural Park. Continue along the fence and take the trail on your right side to Puig Lleó (311 m). Because of wild roar hunting, the trail was temporary closed. (Bad luck!) Same path back to Puig Claper to descend further to Roca Aguilera (224 m). Take the trail which follows the railway back to the starting point." — belgianIbex • Oct 5, 2024
"Starting point is La Papiola. There is an easy single track from C-51 road straight to the top of les Torretes. Due to wild boar hunting , the trail was temporary closed beyond the summit. " — belgianIbex • Oct 5, 2024
