This was a longer outing than either of us planned. We left Vegas around 8am and met at a pre-determined spot on the side of the road at 10am. We followed a friend's GPS track, which made route-finding fairly easy. We got a few sprinkles, but it never really rained. The views from the top were as good as I was expecting. We didn't realize how loose and steep it was while we were going up, but going back down, it all became so clear! Bart provided most of the conversation for the day, which was fine by me. I hadn't seen him in a while and it was great to catch up.
