After a 3 day drive from Dushanbe to Barchidif, a zodiak cruise across Lake Sarez and 2 days scrambling up Ramaif Valley by foot (10 km, 60 kg gear) we set up a base camp at around 4200 m altitude in the plains below the mountain. We started on 24th July 2017 at 4 am in the morning and Paul Hammer and I reached the summit at around 9 am.
