"Alone. I walked from Glenfinnan station up Glen Finnan to Corryhully which was closed up with stones and cement. Although not marked on the map the path continued further up the valley. I found a stalkers' path going up the north east side of the southeast ridge of Sgurr a Choire Riabhaich, which I followed. It can hardly have been used in recent years. At its end I ascended to the top of Sgurr a' Choire Riabhaich and on to the top of Sgurr nan Coireachan. Mist was above about 1600' the whole time apart from about 2 minutes when it cleared briefly. I returned to Sgurr a' Choire Riabhaich and descended by Allt a' Choire Charnaig, crossing over to an unnamed stream leading directly to Corryhully where the two come close together. I returned by the path down Glen Finnan." — peter43 • Aug 29, 1970
