We climbed up from Sandpiper lake through the brush to the northern slope to the short class 3 climb up the west ridge to the summit. The summit block on this peak is totally epic, and the 360 view of everything from Mt. Humphreys to Mt.Lyell to Mt. Kaweah, just miles and miles of incredible mountains. It was quite inspiring indeed. Seven Gables was my 4th peak on this trip.
