Parked in the multi-storey car park by the ski centre at 47.85839N, 08.03652E. Took the trail, mainly on tarmac, around and up the eastern side of the mountain and up to the col at Grüble. Then SE to the top of Seebuck, returning to the col to take the main trail up to the summit. Stood at the highest legal point by the weather station compound, and on a granite block at the nearby viewpoint. The highest point in the restricted area looked to be a man-made dirt mound. Natural summit most likely erased. Returned by outward route, with lunch at the Seebuckhütte. With ALT.

Sunshine, with cloudless skies above an extensive cloud inversion, but a cold easterly wind.
