oh how nasty this one was, especially after the large storm...
the Kanc closure prevented us from doing Nancy, so.....why not tackle scar ridge...the infamous worst bushwhack on the NE100 highest! This thing was god awful with hundreds of new trees down. It took serious navigational skills, a trusty compass, some guessing and hard work....throw in crawling on our bellies and climbing over 3-5 stacked tree trunks sometimes as high as 15 feet off the ground. But we made it!
