Headed out mid morning with Kim with an original idea to hike Dial and Nippletop. It was a nice winter morning, not too cold and no wind at all. We walked at a nice pace to the end of the Lake Road and then made the decision to hike Sawteeth instead, saving Dial and Nippletop for a hike in the near future. We used the weld trail up and back. Trail conditions were great and Kim brought her small sled for the descent. She used that sled most of the way down the Weld trail back to the dam. Overall, it was a very nice day for a hike.
