it's winter up there. started with Saddle Mtn, went up in snow storm. The skies cleared, and we had great views from the top of Fairview. Snos went from knee to hip deep in some pockets. There was a good track to the pass, fairly easy up Saddle, we finished breaking in a trail after two others went up Fairview. Quick descent thanks to some glissading. We considered avalanche hazard, and deemed it safe. This could easily change.
